ROMSDALSEGGEN & RAMPESTREKEN

Norway's most beautiful hike can be found in Åndalsnes, right in the heart of Romsdalen! At the top of Romsdalseggen you have a panoramic view of all the famous mountain peaks in Romsdalen.

Here at Åndalsnes Camping you stay close to where the hike ends in Åndalsnes, with the viewpoint Rampestreken towards the end. It takes about 10-15 minutes to walk from where the hike ends and back to the campsite. A great way to get the "acid" out of your legs after a long hike :)

Normally we have departures at:

08.00, 09.00 and 09.45.

small changes in time may occur. early/late in the season changes in time also occur.

Booking at the earliest the day before and preferably at arrival. (we prefer not to accept orders by phone or email)

PRICES

240 NOK Pr adult. (Over 14 years)

175 NOK Pr child.

750 NOK For family ticket. (2 adults + 2 children up to 14 years)

Dogs for free.

Note:

Attendance outside the reception 5 minutes before departure ready for departure. This means that drinking bottles are filled up and toilet-visits etc. is done;)

PARKING

Cars can be parked at Åndalsnes Camping for free. Parking is behind the reception building at the fence by the river. Park with the front or back facing the river.

IMPORTANT

If you have a tent, motorhome or caravan and are leaving the same day you are doing the hike, you must remove your tent, motorhome or caravan from the pitch before going to the hike. (Checkout is 12.00)

If you have booked a bus ticket online and are taking the bus from the Norwegian Tindesenter at the harbour in Åndalsnes city, there is parking at the following places. All the colored places in the map have free parking. There also is paid parking-areas several places in edition to these. They are easy to find, marked with big banners.
